Here's to 2014!

One of my new years resolutions is to shoot more personal work. So first thing New Year's Day, I jumped on the F train (which was disgustingly littered with vomit & etc. from the night before) and headed out to Coney Island to photograph the Polar Bear Swim.  I didn't realize how poplar this event is to photograph as I think every NY photographer was present.  But, I fought my way among the big boys with their big lenses & big attitudes to get my shots.  I was soaking wet from bottom down when it was over (next year I might jump in for real!).  I definitely needed a beer & hot dog from Nathan's when it was over.  I couldn't think of a better way to start 2014!  I love you NYC (and Lucha Libre guy,  you were one of my favs!)!
